Digital technologies increasingly mediate teaching, entrepreneurship training, market information, and enterprise operations in Nigeria. Yet the connections between institutional digital transformation, learning-based competence formation, and sustainable small and medium enterprise (SME) performance remain fragmented across education, entrepreneurship, and fisheries/agricultural enterprise literatures. This integrative review develops a cross-sector interpretation of digital transformation and skills development, distinguishing learning and adoption outcomes from observed entrepreneurial performance. A purposive, transparent integration of 51 previously assembled publications, including supplied full-text papers by Agatha Samson and publications by Samuel Awolumate, was undertaken. Publisher-linked research and comparative reviews were used for interpretation. Sources were organized through structured charting and critical thematic comparison; this is not a systematic or exhaustive search. Findings: Four connected domains recur: digital instructional capacity; entrepreneurial and technical competencies; organizational adoption and institutional support; and enterprise resilience. The literature supports plausible relationships between these domains, but empirical designs are heterogeneous, commonly cross-sectional, and often reliant on intentions or perceptions. Direct evidence linking educational interventions to long-term SME survival or to measured graduate employment is limited. A Digital Learning–Enterprise Sustainability (DLES) framework is proposed to guide future multi-level research and practice. Effective digital transformation requires more than access to technology; instructional design, skill application, financial and institutional support, and measurable enterprise outcomes should be evaluated as distinct yet interacting stages.
